六、主讲人简介：

Dmitry Churkin is well-known expert in the field of fibre lasers and nonlinear fibre optics. He experimentally demonstrated longest ever fibre laser, made the first experimental demonstration of random distributed feedback fibre laser, discovered laminar-turbulent transition in fibre lasers, developed methods of real-time measurements of intensity spatio-temporal dynamics and spectral dynamics, proposed new type of parametric instabilities in fibre lasers. He has published numerous papers and reviews in high-impact factor journals including Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Physics Reports, Advances in Optics & Photonics, Laser & Photonics Reviews, Physical Review Letters, Scientific Reports and others. Currently, he is serving as a vice-rector for research at Novosibirsk State University being ranked by QS World Ranking Agency among 50 best universities worldwide in physics.
